Among all the things that we need to do as wedding photographers, our job consists in capturing special moments such as this. These are the type of pictures that bride's cherish and care about. This is a moment that we can't recreate. This is a moment that come and goes, and we have to be ready for it.
This picture was taken inside Saint Paul's Church at the Columbia University Campus in New York City. The bride brought a trifold with the interior of the church and as soon as I saw the doors I knew that I hd to take advantage of this place to photograph the couple as they walk out after the ceremony. This picture took me about five minutes to get done. I had to ask people to stand in one side of the doors and I had to move some church items that were right next to the door. I think my efforts were worth it. Camila and Nelson ended up buying a huge print for their living room.
