Juliana and John Engagement

I met Juliana and John at my place a while back. Since our first meeting we have always communicated either by email or text and by the time their engagement shoot date arrived I felt that I haven't spent enough time with them and therefore we are not very familiar with each other. But my feelings were miss-placed. We instantly bonded the moment that we so each other for the second time and we felt that we have known each other for years. They are very good at following instructions and being themselves in front of the camera and that made my job a lot easier and fun....can't wait for their wedding day!

Among all the beautiful wedding dresses that I got a chance to photograph last year, this is one of my favorites. Wedding dresses are so unique and beautiful and they are one of the first things that I like to see in the bride's phone when they come to inquire about my wedding photography and video services.

Wedding Photography

This picture was taken inside Saint Paul's Church at the Columbia University Campus in New York City. The bride brought a trifold with the interior of the church and as soon as I saw the doors I knew that I hd to take advantage of this place to photograph the couple as they walk out after the ceremony. This picture took me about five minutes to get done. I had to ask people to stand in one side of the doors and I had to move some church items that were right next to the door. I think my efforts were worth it. Camila and Nelson ended up buying a huge print for their living room.

Kevin and Laura

I am looking forward in photographing the wedding of this wonderful Colombian couple this coming weekend. Kevin and Laura's wedding will be at the beautiful Mediterranean Manor in Patchogue NY. This is the first time that my crew and I are going to be in this venue and we are very excited about photographing in there as there are so many beautiful spots where we can get some great shots.

Prom

I usually go out to practice every Thursday. I have done that religiously for the last three years. This week thought I changed my day and went out yesterday. While I was out there I met a number of teens who where taking pictures before they went to their prom. Without thinking twice I approached them and took a few shots. Here is one of them.  I hope you like it.

The Marriott Hotel, Flushing New York

I had the great pleasure to photograph an small but beautiful and intimate wedding. This wedding took place in Flushing, NY. Sharawn, the bride, and Felicia, the mother, are two of the most calmed and patient people I have ever met....The groom's family were also very special. The bride's mom had to travel early the next day back to California and the groom's family had to fly back to Toronto, Canada, but despite their tight schedules they enjoyed the wedding to the fullest and it was so touching to see two families from two different backgrounds, cities and religions unite by love and respect to one another.

Forget that you are being photographed and enjoy the moment, be yourself, have fun, pretend that no one is watching you.
