This picture was taken inside Saint Paul's Church at the Columbia University Campus in New York City. The bride brought a trifold with the interior of the church and as soon as I saw the doors I knew that I hd to take advantage of this place to photograph the couple as they walk out after the ceremony. This picture took me about five minutes to get done. I had to ask people to stand in one side of the doors and I had to move some church items that were right next to the door. I think my efforts were worth it. Camila and Nelson ended up buying a huge print for their living room.
I'm a passionate wedding photographer. I fell in love with this beautiful profession while transitioning from graduate school to law school. It's one of the best things that has happened to me. I can't tell you how lucky I feel whenever I am given the honor to document such an important day for my couples. Aware of such responsibility I practice every week trying to get better at what I do. Judging by my reviews in my website this effort has clearly paid off.
